[ Eleven AM, as requested. A room is set aside for Bruce Wayne to be interviewed by the infamous Lois Lane at Wayne Financial. A piece that will get a Metropolis viewpoint on the multi-billionaire bachelor from the city across the harbor. At least, that is what he figures will be on the surface of this meeting.

Something tells him it's a little deeper than that.

Alfred thought it was a good idea. A way to make bridges and people of interest in more ways than one. A way to understand the woman who the Superman has chosen to be his partner.

"A way to see the man you've put on the Olympus of Gods from a human angle, Mr. Wayne."

He sighs and drags his hand down his face. Bruce unbuttons his suit jacket and takes a seat at the table.

Never was one for the woods. Or camping.

[ How he ended up bloody lost in the woods was beyond him. How he got lost in the woods with a woman from another dimension -- that is a little less beyond him. Dimensions, planes of existence, none of that is really beyond him. Though it's rare he runs into someone who knows him and doesn't hate him.

That's more surprising than anything.

He looks at the compass in his hand. And sighs.

[ Bruce remains quiet as he listens. There is so much he can only imagine. Aqualad? It must be related to that Arthur Curry. M'Gann? Kid Flash - must be related to that Barry Allen. There is so much that it seems this young man has already experienced, while Bruce is far older than him and barely scratched the surface of it all. ]

Nothing is a promised success, Dick. There's no guarantee any of us will make it out of anything.
