I do like meeting various types of women... but, I think it's obvious I inherited my parents care for Gotham.

And what do you care for so much about this city? There's nothing exceptional about it or the people here. And you clearly don't trust the love people purport to have for you so why bother?

There's more to Gotham than the people who have been involved in my family's company, Mr. Nygma.

Of course, your philanthropy. Some tax-deductible donations, a few galas and fundraisers that allow you to rub shoulders with your peers in luxury. It shows such care for the city.

I won't argue that Gotham is bigger than the Waynes and everything you've built. What I question is what makes anyone in this city worth the effort. Most of them are staggeringly dull-witted and lacking any ambition whatsoever. So why bother with them?

Why not bother trying to save them?

We may not like to admit it, because there's not much to be proud of... but Gothamn is our home. If we can't fix home, then how can we claim to do anything worth while?
