[ what halloween has become has always fascinated morpheus. after all, the old stories and what all hallows eve once was will return at some point. there will be a thirst for understanding - knowledge - that humanity will return to. for now, however, none seem too concerned with the pale man with a mop of black hair and glinting diamond like eyes in a sea of black. no, he rather stands among all the costumes and spirited people. until his wanderings bring him to an old abandoned home.

not uncommon in gotham, but this one is certainly unique. it once belonged to a man who sought to understand what truly existed in their dimension. amateur spells, a barely passing knowledge of the nature of heaven and hell. one might think for a moment that morpheus would say the name of john constantine, but no. this time it was someone that was once far more... innocent.
