lmk if this works
I hope this works with it!
One hero that may never come back anyways.
She continues her work on her bar. Supporting local people. What else really can she do? ]

Some days, he misses the bar back home. Those days were different.
Now all he does is drift to bars when he feels the need to disconnect. A small handful aren't completely opposed to the Glaive, at least. A sad state of affairs that he has to accept such behaviors.
Nyx sighs lightly as he settles onto a bar stool. He's not in a hurry, so he waits for the bartender as he people watches.]

[ Tifa has learned how to talk to people that come to Seventh Heaven. Either they want to forget everything and drink their sorrows (then inevitably talk about it anyways), or they want someone to listen as the drink lets their guard down. She hears plenty of stories either way.
She smiles and puts her hands on the counter. ]
What would you like?

[He's never been too picky, despite his former life. He can't afford to be picky either way. A soldier's stipend calls for pragmatism, not luxury.]

[ She twirls an empty glass in her hand before turning to the tap. One.. two... three. She uses the third and then puts it down in front of him. Just enough foam, but not to the point where it is spilling over. ]
Thoughts are the secondary currency of a bar, you know.

[He slides the glass closer to himself, nodding at her in thanks.]
Just a lot going on in the city, and I don't know where to start sometimes.

[ Tifa gives him a gentle smile. If anything, she can at least get him to lighten up a bit. He may not tell her the story, but, leaving the bar in higher spirits than when he came in? That will go far. ]
Most people start with the ones that run the city. Then they complain from there.

Easy target, right? I wouldn't blame them either. A little bit of complaining sometimes gets the job done. But me? [He drinks from his glass. Good stuff.] I just get paid to solve the complaints.
dissidia shenans
It seems... they haven't yet reached this plain. Should we take a moment to rest?

It can't hurt. [ her hands go up and she stretches. ] Been awhile since we have rested, right?

It probably only feels like more than I remember last time, right?
( the amount of manikins, she means. there's a laugh to follow it up, but despite her effort, it's obvious that her heart isn't in it. )
no subject
that's this, more dissidia shenanigans from cura???
between them, the lifeless forms of dozens of manikins, which she didn't seem to notice, or mind. )
You're looking for himβ isn't that right?
AERITH FRIEND
Tifa is taken back by the sudden appearance of the woman. brown hair, pink bow she--she's familiar. does she know her? not from waves but .... it's something more. isn't it? she stares at her with her fists lowered slightly. bruises mark her arms and legs. ]
Yes... sorry. Do I... know you?
no subject
( it's playful, the way she says it, at least. just as she raises a finger to press against her lips, hinting that such information might just be a secret. )
But I think the only thing you'll find this way are more manikins, rather than answers.
no subject
You've been here before? So, that means you know the way.
no subject
( she keeps a tight smile. )
Why don't I show you the way?
no subject
Okay. Lead the way.
no subject
It's much easier to travel in groups, anyway. The manikins certainly aren't above doing that, am I right?
( there's an airy chuckle to back that up, as she claps her hands behind her back, walking on. )
