There's not that much time! [ He says it over his shoulder, shouting down the stairs. ] If it's anything like Duelist Kingdom...

[ They won't have a ton of time to get enough locator cards to get into the final rounds. Even if that means he needs to lose a few hours of sleep. The Ghouls - Rare Hunters - seem even more insane than the Player Killers that Pegasus sent around the island.

Even with that in mind, Yugi sees it as this tournament is important for other reasons. The memories of his other self are on the line. That's a priority for him. The quicker they can get what they need to secure the final round entry the better. Then they can have time while they wait for the other semi-finalists. No doubt Kaiba is going to be there and wanting to continue the ongoing feud from before Duelist Kingdom...

Of course, that all slams to a screeching halt in his mind the moment he takes in the scene in front of him. He looks at his Grandpa, to their guest, then to Atem, and back again. It isn't too often anymore that he feels like he is missing something. He does now though.

'I wasn't either... Grandpa didn't mention having company for the last few days.'

Best to keep the communication between him and Atem quiet and in their minds. Given no one else in the room knows about the Pharaoh's spirit -- at least that is what Yugi thinks. Their guest looks from Solomon back to Yugi, with her eyes going straight to the Puzzle around his neck. Yugi instinctively grabs it and pulls it closer. He doesn't think she'd do anything, but, the recent months have taught him not to be too trusting with things. ]

I ddn't know you were going to have a guest during everything, Grandpa...

'Neither did I! Her family always enjoyed surprising me out of nowhere.'

[ So, long term friends then? He frowns and tries to wrap his mind around who might be an old enough friend with a family member around his age. Not that that he has long before the woman is turning towards him and Atem again. The look of surprise has gone away into a quiet pondering. ]

Then, that's what you found in Egypt? [ She is addressing Solomon despite smiling at Yugi. ]

'Technically, I found it before I met your grandfather! I had it before he even found me in that bar in Cairo, I'll have you know. Not that he could beat me in a game for it...'

[ The younger woman shakes her head at the boast from the older man. She nods to the ancient artifact around Yugi's neck. ]

Did you put it together?

Yeah--uh, eventually. It took me eight years. You know about the Millennium Puzzle? [ Yugi spares another glance over at Atem. ] Grandpa never mentioned how he found it...

[ The younger woman turns her head to look back at Solomon. He crosses his arms again and gives a heavy sigh. There's suddenly a heavy air in the room suddenly. He takes a subconscious step closer to his other self at it. It's not foreboding, but it's certainly not something he really is comfortable with. Especially as it seems the other two are having a silent conversation he's not necessarily following.

She stands elegantly then and Yugi feels himself freezing in place. There is a certain confidence around her then. ]

Then, there is no point in caring on as if you are unaware of things. [ Yugi notes she has an accent then. She's not from Japan? His eyebrows raise as she bows once again. ] My name is Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. My grandparents sponsored many of your grandfather's trips to Egypt.

[ 'Many-- he went more than once?!' ]
