A 'hmmm' comes from the back of his throat. Not many people came from other parts of the country to live in Gotham. That was true. Hell, Bruce wondered why most people stayed in Gotham if they were given an out. Most people couldn't leave.

He chuckled. "I didn't know Gotham had a certain tone of voice."

Jonathan had hated Gotham when he moved here at eighteen, but it was the only school willing to give him a full scholarship, he became a professor right after his degree and just ended up staying. He's been in Gotham longer than he was in Georgia now, but he couldn't fully shake his old roots. Simply represses them.

"Oh, you lot do, the natives mostly. It is hard to explain, not worth explaining really." He shrugged his shoulders as his drink was placed before him, basically, just a dark beer mixed with champagne. "What brings you to Noonans?" He asked, curious if this was a hench of one of the others.

Another 'hmmm.' Interesting. It wasn't something that Bruce had ever noticed. Then again, it isn't like he casually talks with the Rogue Gallery of Gotham either.

"Just stopped in. Truck is down the way, figured getting a drink was better than sitting in it all night." A shrug then. "Planning on leaving the city."
