[ She continues speaking, laying out how she feels lacking compared to Alice, and he instantly wraps his hands tighter around hers. ]

It's not about comparing you to her. I'd never do that, and I don't expect you to be her, Jesse. And you're helping me by just being here. I don't think I'd be here without you.

[ He might be the master of many worlds now, whatever that means, but he knows he'd never dig deeper into learning more about that if it meant interfering with his relationship with Jesse. As far as he's concerned, that title might as well be a jumble of words put together; it might have significance and it might not, but it's not more significant than being with Jesse.

He can't imagine putting anything above that, or above her. ]
