[ Green eyes dart to look up at him then. It's not a pointed look, but a flat one. In what other state is there to leave her in? Happy and proud that he's going back and fixing the mess? She is, to some degree. She's proud he's managed to pull himself back from the brink enough to make the decisions on his own. That he could write the story to be at this point. That he's obviously free of the Dark Presence and can be Alan Wake again.

Polaris is the on that points you in the way to go. That's how it has to go in order to get you where you need to go to end it. We both know that.
