1. Genetic memory 'conversation' between father and son
2. Leto searches for and finds the Preacher
3. A heavy spice dose sends Paul into a trance to 'meet' his son through prescience
I'm sure I'll think of more. There are so many other things that can and should involve Duncan with Leto as well.]

One step closer to vengeance.
One step closer to obliterating the Harkonnen from Arrakis.
It also brings them ever closer to the abyss of jihad, the legions screaming his name and the oceans of blood they will all drown in. Desperation drives him to find another way, to see through the spice and find some way around this path that he finds himself trapped on.
Before the end, he will have to take the Water of Life, Paul knows that. But it brings a terrible risk and for now, he contiues to search for another way to save all that he has built, all that he has come to care for.
When Mu'adib seeks solace in the desert, the Fedaykin grant him that privacy. They keep away all challengers while he sinks into the past and the future, searching for some way to prevent catastrophe.
But why does the path lead here?
Jacrutu is forbidden. None of the Fremen will so much as speak the name, but Paul allows his awareness to be tugged in that direction.
Is it a voice from the past or the future?
He can't be certain, but he allows himself to go.]
i swear i'm missing notifs, dw :|
Nostalgia, perhaps.
He sits on many of the cliff faces as his mind wanders back to those days and events that transpired. The people he's missed and loved. The few he has only known truly thanks to his genetic memories.
The blue-in-blue eyes turn as a familiar consciousness tugs at him. One that he has met only in memories, as the man that would have been called Paul Atredies - Mu'adib changed the day he, Leto, was born. His careful expression does not change as he regards the man that has now joined him. An eyebrow lifts, part of his face stiff from the sandtrout that settle there.
Why not looks as one did if one travels his own memories? ]
Same! What the heck dw?
Paul knows him as sure as he knows his own breath in his own body. This is not the child slain by the Sardukar, this is another, a son he has yet to meet.
Calm. The prada-bindu techniques he has learned from his mother help keep him centered.]
I know you.
From somewhere in my future, I will know you.
time to yeet >:(
You will, Father. [ There is no need to dance around it. His father might be young to his powers, but they are still strong. ] It will take time... but you will.

Still. The ghola is careful. He has always been careful.]
so many mANY spoilers
A luxury that Leto himself is aware that he may never have. ]
Duncan.
[ A gentler smile from the Emperor is seen. Sandtrout peek from the corner of his neckline, but, there are times he must appear more human than he knows he's becoming. For now.
A pause. Then: ]
How are you?
Every spoiler ever
A curt bow, the same he'd once taught Paul.
How he misses the lad and the man he had grown to become.]
I am well, m'lord, as always.
How may I serve you?

There's no need to be so formal in this setting, Duncan. We should take advantage of the time we have. [ A hand raises for Duncan to take a seat across from him. Then, he leans against the desk. ] Let us speak plainly.

She is gone, Duncan.
But his fondness and love for Paul and Leto overrides all. His smile comes easier, seeking to ease the sorrow he sees.] Have you ever known me to do otherwise?
