Jesse has a host of insane < ABILITIES/POWERS/HACKS > due to the nature of being the Director... and being tied to Polaris's Resonance. But, there are certain things that can directly interact with others:

🔻 POLARIS RESONANCE.

res·o·nance
— the reinforcement or prolongation of sound by reflection from a surface or by the synchronous vibration of a neighboring object.

Polaris is the interdimensional being that Jesse is psychically connected to. This connection is what boosts Jesse's insane amount of capabilities and powers. Simply put, Polaris is a being that exists on vibrations and increases when "her" natural vibration is amplified by things that are in tune to her. As such, Jesse basically is the walking megaphone for Polaris's resonance. It is a passive force unless Jesse directly uses it to "cleanse" things of other resonances.

As such, I'm going to say that anyone with abilities that allow them to sense magic/powers/oddities are entirely open to picking up on Polaris! There's no need to ask for permission. This is an open door for it. Just note below if your character falls into this so I can roll with it!

🔻 POWER USE.
Jesse has several offensive (and a few defensive) abilities granted to being synched/connected to certain items within her home of the Federal Bureau of Control. She generally will try not to use them (especially against others), but I would like to know just OOCly if that is an option for people! Please see the links above for a full list of her abilities.

Throughout the FBC, Jesse finds several documents about Altered World Events (realities clashing with her own), Altered Items (items effected by AWEs), and general information about staff or the FBC relating to the world. Most tend to be confidential blocked out due to sensitive material for unclassified folk.

Jesse will be creating her own documents here in Hotel Fen! As such, I'd like to know if it is alright if Jesse documents about your character/their abilities... even without their IC knowledge. These items (for now) are personal and locked to her flash drive that no one else can access (for now).

I've seen The Shinning, but I hear the movie takes liberties! So, I may not have an accurate understanding of it.

I'd definitely say The Shine and Polaris could sense one another then. Polaris effectively needs to be connected to a living host, but then can be amplified through technology as long as its tuned to her frequency.

WHAT ARE OFFLIMITS OOCLY: Honestly I have no idea what to put here. :P I did not bring the peridexis to this game, alas, because otherwise I WOULD have some ideas, but never mind that now.

WHAT ARE OFFLIMITS ICL-Y: Nita would prefer explicit consent when it comes to telepathy-type things! She'll offer this in turn when it comes to things like healing on her end, as well.

All things Jesse will document are either related to what she hears about from others, or what she learns directly from characters! No OOC knowledge is going into them. ♥

Polaris can only connect to people once they've adjusted to her frequency (basically). So, while Jesse has the connection to Polaris telepathically, Polaris won't be able to reach out to others! Otherwise, Jesse's psychic powers are more in the realm of physically moving things with her mind/powers. No mind reading for her.

Telekinesis is also cool if it's plus-consent, then! /thumbs-up

And the adjusting would probably be easier with the peridexis/wizardry's 'soul', more-or-less, as a go-between, but Nita could probably figure it out on her own with Jesse's help.

Usually one needs to be exposed to Polaris's resonance, as Jesse was and another character in the game was. So, we can definitely work out something if it comes up!
