[Shiva, or rather, Gentiana as she's known to others, isn't the only Astral who can take a human form. Phoenix can too, but it's an odd feeling to be walking on two legs rather than fly like she's used to, and going by another name. Willow as she's calling herself to those who don't know who, or what, she really is, has found herself standing next to Lunafreya while Shiva's away.

She's butted heads with Ravus a few times, being somewhat hot-headed compared to her frosty counterpart, but has mostly kept in line. For Lady Lunafreya's sake at the very least. As far as she knows, she's not needed to forge a pact with the Lucian king-to-be, so she's not bothered yet to show herself to him. But Lunafreya's another matter entirely, she'll do all she can for her and keep herself hidden from the empire.]

What seems to be troubling you my Lady, is everything alright or has something happened?

[Worry is laced in her tone as she asks, unsure whether or not to press anything.]

[ It is a unique pair of opposites that have made their home in Tenebrae. The Frostbearer in human form to hide what little of her power remains, and the Lifebringer who walks among the mortals of Eos. The Six have long slept until Shiva awoke, but, it seems that the Phoenix has kept vigil over their Star for centuries. The Six may be those of the major note, but, there are always powerful beings that walk the face of their Star.

Her gaze lifts from where it had wandered to. The blue eyes fall straight to the hair of blazing red that stands not too far from her. A small yet tight smile remains on her face. ]

Have you heard what thee Empire has offered in their talks of peace with Lucis?

[To her fortune, Shiva was one she got on well enough with, elemental opposites aside. Not like Ifrit, whom she shares her Fire elemental with and is oft at odds with for his hatred of mankind. Although she understands his distaste and mistrust, humans destroy and life is taken swiftly, it pains her as the Lifebringer to see it smothered. Yet she has watched, and waited, under the request of Bahamut himself but to never interfere as her brethren slept.

Golden eyes meet bright blue with some sympathy, having heard whispers of peace but at the cost of marriage.]

The whispers have not escaped my ear, your hand for King Regis' son to stop this needless death. You care for him, it's plain for all to see, but is this what you wish?

[ Lunafreya's gaze drifts to the side ever so slightly as she fights to keep a blush at bay. ]

To spend time with Noctis-sama as we had as children... even for a short time? That... that would mean the absolute world to me. However...

[ She frowns, looking at her hands as they are tied together. ]

I cannot but help and wonder if we will truly be together. This wedding is not of our own doing, but orchestrated by politics and those that would see Lucis no longer exist. How can such a union truly be happy?

[Under her watchful eye, the blush doesn't go unnoticed, lips turning up just slightly in mild amusement. But it doesn't last long as Lunafreya speaks, the sympathy replacing momentary amusement.]

My Lady, if you truly believe you can be happy with him, then should that not be what you hold to in this arrangement? To see him and spend time with him like you did in your youth.

[A sigh, placing a hand on Lunafreya's closed ones.]

This arrangement, it stops bloodshed does it not? And keeps him and King Regis and his people from meeting a terrible fate?

[ The frown on her face threatens to turn into a bit of a smile but never quite reaches that mark. Instead, her gaze lands on their joined hands before raising her head to look at the fire-y haired woman. She, of course, acts as opposite to Gentiana. Both, however, are deeply important to Lunafreya. She relies on their council as much as a king would his own guard. ]

One can only hope that it might. Yet... this is the Empire. We see how little they truly respect arrangements they have built.

[ She means to say that she does not truly trust the arrangement at all. It seems as if it would be too good to be true. ]

To that end, then, would the Empire hope to control Noctis-sama through me?

You are not wrong, it is the Empire yes. I would keep your guard up at all times, time has shown they may not keep their word.

[A cold seriousness washes over her, with a chilling fire in her eyes, one that makes flames feel like ice.]

My Lady, I vow to you I shall keep watch. While I may not be able to interfere much in what is to come, I will do my best to allow you and the Prince to be free from the Empire.

[Bahamut be damned in his orders not to interfere as she kept watch, or the destiny of the young Prince, Lady Lunafreya has become a dear friend and she would do what she could in her power to keep her happy.]

Have they ever kept their word?

[ There is no expectation of an answer for her rhetorical question. Everything simply lies at the feet of the Empire to use and bend to their will. She is no fool. Ravus gives her some autonomy, yet, the Empire simply knows that locking down the Oracle would sway people against them. Control is how they operate. If they can give the people a sense that the Oracle freely walks, then they will not turn scorn of religion to them.

If only she were truly free to walk as she might.

Lunafreya turns her gaze back to Willow. ]

If we are allowed to by the design of destiny. [ A sad smile graces her face then. She is aware that the path she walks may only be adjacent to the True King, nothing more.

Regardless, Lunafreya takes the few steps towards Willow. She raises her hands to take the woman born of fire-red hair. The smile remains on her face, but now, a determination has taken her eyes. ]

Tell me what I might be able to do for you, my friend. You, who walks along side mankind, when she need not.
