The revelation about the Puzzle isn't a surprise, as that's already a known fact, but what is a surprise is the fact that Solomon knew of his existence all this time, while both himself and Yugi were under the impression that he was completely unaware. ]

No, Yugi, I didn't know. [ Atem shakes his head, surprise plain on his face, as he looks first at Solomon, and then at Lunafreya. ] I had no way of knowing that he was aware I was present.

[ He falls silent again when Luna begins to speak. Her words are also interesting, but he's still working on processing the idea that Solomon knew about him from the start. ]

I'm sorry, Yugi. I didn't know that all of this was going to unfold today. [ He turns slightly, watching as Lunafreya moves to place her hand on Yugi's shoulder. But then she pauses as if to hesitate, and he decides to complete the move, but on the opposite side. He supposes it won't be much of a comfort to Yugi, but at least the revelation from Solomon and Lunafreya isn't nearly as dire as some of the other things they've learned recently.

Still, he wants to reassure his friend as much as he can, so he gives his shoulder a light squeeze. ]
