[ Lunafreya walked with Atem and her furry companion to the hotel she was staying at. It was rather grand, but, that might have just added to the level of mystery surrounding her. Pryna barked a happy good-bye to Atem, tail wagging as she nuzzled his nose again. Things might have remained where they were there if not for the element of fate stepping in the way.
It is only hours later when Yugi snaps awake, throwing himself up in bed. The sun has already risen and he looks at the phone beside the bed for the time. Nine o'clock. ]
Damn it!
[ A rare curse from the young man, but, he's late. Not only is he late but he's late in a tournament. They still have to get the rest of the locator cards to even make it to the last rounds. By "they", of course, he means himself and the other him. The spirit that is housed in the Millennium Puzzle that has one too many sleepless nights. ]
Other Me, why didn't you say something?!
[ Ah, yes, as if an ancient spirit is an alarm clock for a teenager.
Yugi is speeding through getting dressed. T-shirt, pants, belt with his and Atem's deck. Then phone, Millennium Puzzle that hangs off the post on the headboard, and Duel Disk. He throws the bedroom door open and is practically skipping every other step to get down the stairs.
Nope, it hasn't occurred quite yet for him to check his missed calls or text messages. Nor has it really occurred to him that the front of the house where the shop is housed hasn't been opened yet either. He slides on the kitchen floor to the fridge. Right, grab something to eat on the way out. ]

--'Yugi. Surely the tournament can wait, we have a guest!'
You know it can't! There's... [ Yugi finally stops as he shuts the door to the fridge.
He looks over to see his Grandpa at the kitchen table, arms crossed and looking disappointed in his grandson's behavior. Yugi glances over at where he feels Atem might be, before looking back at the table to see their guest. When is the last time they had a guest that isn't a customer or one of his friends? He realizes that the moment the guest turns to look at him.
She's really pretty is the first thing that comes to Yugi's mind. Blond hair that is pulled back into a loose braid, striking blue eyes, dressed in a black dress, black boots, and white over jacket tied in the front. Her eyes meet his and he sudden stands rigid for a reason he can't explain. His confusion is only matched by a look of surprise on her own face. Then, the guest turns back to Solomon as if looking for an explanation.
Solomon sighs. ] 'This is my grandson, Yugi. Yugi, introduce yourself properly!'
Oh--right, sorry, uhm. [ He gives a brief bow. ] I'm Yugi Mutou. It's nice to meet you.
[ Their guest bows oddly deeply. The surprise has melted off her face except her eyes. Maybe she's surprised to see him because he technically is famous? Well, his other half is famous, but... ]
