[ If not for the fact that he felt the need to stay close to Jesse in case she needed his help standing, Alan knows he'd be distracted by the presence of Saga and Casey, and Estevez too. It's not that he doesn't trust the other agents, but he doesn't feel at ease around them, not like he does with Jesse. Saga isn't nearly as pointed or forceful or blunt as Casey is, although she does have a way of getting to the point when she needs to. Estevez is direct too, but not as cutting as Casey can be. But still, the only people in the room that Alan truly feels comfortable around are Steve and Jesse.
He just stands by as the agents exchange words, feeling as though this is one situation in which his input isn't needed. He's sure someone in the group would tell him that he's already caused enough harm and now they're forced to do damage control because of him. When Casey shoots that glare his direction, he just stares back at the other man, unsure what he should do other than stand there. As far as he's concerned, he deserves the pointed glares and harsh words.
