[ The jerking motions and attempt at turning is what wakes Jesse more than anything. She raises her head sleepily, eyes focusing on him in the room with the lessened light. She readjusts. Head goes on his chest and arms wrap around him to try and be comforting. Something has woken him up but refuses to let him wake. All she hopes is that it isn't the Dark Presence.

Polaris shifts and Jesse doesn't quite understand it. Why can't Polaris help? What's going on with Alan?
