[ Even he still wrestles with those thoughts as she well knows. He has doubts about his ability to be a contributing member of society, if anyone would even accept him as one. But he supposes that now that he and Lantaa have finally found each other, they might be able to support each other when times become challenging.

He still remains fearful of hurting her or causing harm that cannot be healed, and that is why his movements are so timid and hesitating.

When she kisses him, some of the tension in his form fades and he very nearly leans against her as if in search of comfort. But doing so would be stopping his feeding, and so he tries to resist that urge. ]

I do know that, but I- [ Remain afraid of going too far... ] I am afraid that I might not be able to stop, or know when to stop, or wish to stop. I have said this before, I am sure, but I am still afraid.

[ But even with his lingering fear, he does not stop, continuing to draw from her what he needs. Even as he does, the thought occurs to him that he might stop before he is completely full, so as to not take too much from her.

After another moment or two, he withdraws his fangs from her skin and pulls back just slightly. ]
