Rather than speak when his emotions are threatening to spill over, Aymeric moves closer to Mélodie and slips his arms around her and Alkaid both. No children of his will ever be turned away, or returned to the orphanage they came from, for any reason. All three of them will be considered their children, and any issues concerning parentage and inheritance may as well not exist in Aymeric's mind. The rest of the world may not see it that way, but it is not the rest of the world that concerns him. ]
