[ Now that she has no need to travel, or at least nothing dictating that she must, he hopes that she can finally have a life alongside him and the children. He intends to do whatever he can to give that to her, and to do his best to meet her every need and desire. He would gladly spend the rest of his life beside her and doing whatever it took to make her smile.

At her question, he nods, because it has become something of a habit to keep one of her ribbons on his person. Perhaps he will not have to now that she is home, but the sight of it and the feel of it was enough to remind him that she was still there in some way, and that she would find her way home one day.

It was not easy at all, even with those things, but it would have been worse had she not left those small tokens of herself and her presence. The memories of her that he carried with him helped take one day at a time, even when he did not wish to. '

And it is with those thoughts in mind that he brushes yet another kiss in return before he assists her in leaving the water and the tub behind. ]
