Beneath the dress are the bandages he felt. There are ones that entirely circle her chest and back, while others that wrap around both of her lower arms. Once he had said that he does not wish to see her with as many scars as him. No doubt that once he sees the healing wounds on her arms that he will be disappointed. The bandages on her ribs at least are there to place a balm against the bruises that can be seen peeking from the edges.
As her arms slide from the sleeves, she feels a familiar warm and burning sensation. She winces slightly before lowing her arms and attempting to hide what surely has started to leak into the bandages. If only because she does not wish to get stains on the dress that she is still attempting to get out of.
