Naturally, the steward nods with understanding, and is quick to reassure Aymeric that he will see to any tasks that remain and that he is not to worry. They share a few more words, and the steward points out the covered bowls containing a warm soup, a fresh loaf of bread, a teapot filled with tea and the teacups to go along with it, and beside all of this, a small cake that was specially made for the two of them. From what the steward says, the head maid hoped that the tea and cake would lift Alkaid's spirits and let her know that she is so very, very loved.
