[ Time has a strange way of twisting and turning, moving in ways that none could expect. The trajectory of Ysayle's own life was far different than even she could have predicted, and although a part of her railed against the notion that she could have been so misguided, she had little choice but to accept the consequences of her own actions.
Lives had been lost, places and possessions damaged, all in the name of her endeavor to bring peace and an end to the long war. In the end, she did her best to try and make amends for her past mistakes, even going as far as to sacrifice herself for those who could truly bring about change and that long-sought-after peace.
A part of her welcomed the chance for rest, but another part of her still strongly desired to hold on, because there was something still unfinished. In her eyes, another soul walked the star not with a lack of purpose or unease, but with needs still unmet. Knowing not what she might be able to do for this particular soul, she has hesitated to even extend a hand of friendship and make herself known to him. Perhaps he would not even be able to sense her at all, in which case, she would be forced to ask why she still remains here even in a spirit's form.
Nonetheless, she finds herself drawn to the tall dragoon, watching him as he keeps up a silent vigil on the shore. She moves to stand not quite beside him, but just behind him, and she turns her head sideways to look his way. ]
