[ Alkaid herself does not dream, and that in itself is a blessing. Since returning from the First, all too often are her dreams filled with horrors of sin eaters or the horror Black Rose could have caused. Perhaps she is far too exhausted for her mind to even conjure such visions. Instead, her breathing simply is irregular from the stress of everything the last week. That, or it is the lingering fear and anxiety over her husband-to-be.
There is a hitch in her breathing as she dimly registers, somewhere in her mind, that Aymeric has begun to move. His hand rests atop of her head and her ears twitch. It takes a moment longer for her eyes to open. She raises her head clearly still coming out of the stages of sleep. However, the moment her eyes meet his, her ears stand on end. Tears begin to gather and she raises her own hand to rest on his arm. She moves to speak his name but finds that she is unable to really speak at all.
Her fingers run along his arm until her arm cannot reach further. The tears start to run down her face, and she again tries to say his name. This time, a sound something similar to a whine manages to break through the fear that is paralyzing her. ]
