[ Alkaid can only guess at the struggle inside his mind. A primal influence is one of an invading presence that subverts the will of the individual to their own. Removing it cannot be as simple as pushing it away by aether... perhaps the individual truly must wish to be restored to themselves for it to work. Further study would be required, but she could not imagine any that would subvert themselves or others to it in their age. Perhaps the Exarch was right in believing the Allagans had already done the work for them in that regard.

Her eyes narrow at the questions at the tempered thoughts that Aymeric addresses to her. Fingers curl slightly into his shoulders as if to silently say that the primal is quite wrong. If anything, Aymeric only belongs to himself and his own will. Perhaps the idea of calling him her knight does imply a sense of ownership that she does not have. Regardless, he is the man she loves and has promised herself to. King Thordan can do nothing to change that.

Alisaie continues to push despite the horrid sight before her. It is quite different than Ga Bu... and she has no idea as to why. There is something far more personal between Aymeric and the primal force. She can vaguely recall the connection, but, her mind is so focused on pulling the Lord Speaker's aether to the proper alignment.

Alkaid smiles gently at Aymeric's declaration. She leans down and kisses his forehead. Her nose brushes along his bangs, but she does stop holding him down. Not yet. ]
