Perhaps she will come to decide that this is not a fight worth continuing, or perhaps she will become too tired and weak to continue. It takes a monumental effort, but Aymeric pushes aside those thoughts, doing his best to refuse to even heed them. Alkaid will be there waiting for him, he is certain of it, even if he cannot voice that certainty aloud.
