[ Perhaps it is just as well that she ended the kiss, because the pain in his head only seems to intensify, as if Thordan is continuing his attempts to maintain a hold over Aymeric. Little does he know that even though the hold he has on him is a strong one, Aymeric has retained just enough of himself to be able to still see the faces of those he loves, including Alkaid and her sister, but also Estinien and Lucia.
The searing pain continues as Thordan rages and rails in Aymeric's mind, throwing all kinds of accusations at him: that he truly does not care if peace comes to Ishgard and that he must not care very much for him. He falls silent again after making that short statement, but it registers in his mind that she has continued asking him questions. The notion of such things as eating and drinking feels foreign to him somehow, as if the fight carrying on in his mind has clouded his thinking.
There is an emptiness inside him, a hunger that he has paid no attention to because seeing to his personal needs has seemed far less important than attempting to first convince Estinien to free him, and then trying to win Alkaid over to his side.
