Oh yeah his Sanity is like 72 after starting at 85. More or less translating the game mechanic to the actual mechanic of Call of Cthulhu, this means that John is not on the most stable ground when it comes to traumatic things. He's not going to be able to avoid them, given his profession of choice, but however he might lose some more Sanity depending on just what is in Hotel Fen.
