I'm not sure anything could work with that much distance. We'd be living completely different lives, with different people in them...

[ Yugi looks down. Maybe it's obvious how much thought he's put into this. ]

We'll always be friends and be connected somehow. I just don't see how it would work -- or be fair to either of us.

[ Especially when he's sure it's really Atem that Anzu has eyes for - in that way anyways. That's fine. Yugi accepted that fact a long time ago.
