[ Yugi lifts his gaze the moment his other self starts to speak. It makes sense even though the description of the life inside the Puzzle makes sense. Each piece of the Puzzle would have to change the way the maze worked. Which means the only version of the maze that he has seen is the one put together. Could his other self even keep track of what doors or stairways he had tried? How maddening had that become? ]

...did you ever find a way to open that door?

[ Is that the door to his true memories? Yugi knows he has seen several doors, and even Shadi found several traps himself. The entire maze seems to react to the frustration of the one who is present in it. Which, if that's true, there has to be so much more that he is unaware of when it comes to how Atem truly feels.

His eyes narrow slightly and he raises his head just a bit. ]


Is wandering around that maze really what you want to do? Is it better to do that while I'm the one in control than finding the real door to your memories?
